This car used to have a perfect body, and I spent thousands getting it that way. But one day my water heater blew up and flooded the apartment below mine, forcing the neighbors to relocate. When they did they moved their non-running Mitsubishi Cordia that was my defense against dings on the left side of my car, and in came a string of annoying tenants who didn’t give a rat’s ass if their cars got damaged. And this is why we can’t have nice things...
And on a semi-related tangent, if I ever needed to change the color on a car it would either have to be painted Delfingrau (above) or Copper Red Mica (below):

Sorry man. I co uld never go back to apartment life. If it wasn’t the other tenants, it was the landscapers scraping the side of my car with their backpack leaf blowers.

In my current situation I have to street park, and that brings up a new and unique set of problems (on my new car I’ve got a hole in the front bumper from some jackass’s hitch and scrapes on the left rear corner from someone pulling out without backing up first, etc.) Part of this is due to living next to Section 8 housing with tenants constantly changing; some are obviously better than others, and there seems to be a better group these days, thankfully.
I am shopping for a house, and the two things I must have are a two-car garage and a full basement; everything else (bedrooms, kitchen, living room, etc.) are on the ‘optional’ list. A man’s gotta have priorities...

That’s why my M3 is in a detached garage.

Holy fucking shit on a swiveling popsicle. Someone still had a Cordia? That shit belongs in a museum of long gone memories.

That's why I enjoy my apartment parking garage. I only have one car next to my two cars. And I can park as far over as I want to the other side since nobody is there. Plenty of space to do maintenance and never worry about door dings.
